Cool early morning. Easterly breeze. Greeted by swarms of big mosquitos. All morning, hundreds of swifts cruising along the dike, over the water.
Not exactly eventful or dramatic, but good for the start of summer.
After a year-long 'interruption', the first session is not easy. Like having to play a never heard of musical instrument. Last summer is so far away that I cannot remember wether I'm repeating myself or not.
