Arrived 5.40. High tide.

Light rain. Wind northeast, though not cold.
Rain stopped after half an hour.

And I saw a seal. Swimming downstream with the tide.

Arrived 5.30.
Lowest point of tide, ebb starts about 6.00.

Fresh, though not cold. Blue sky with pink-golden clouds in the West. Wind from southeastern direction, however clouds coming in from west-southwest.

About 6.30 a red ship passes slowly, headed towards town: Fast-lines. Just before 7.00: Chrysona (B), Adandi (Nl).

The risen sun reaches the left bank, turning it golden like brocade.

At 7.10 a lapwing flies over. Oystercatchers, terns, ducks, blackheaded and other gulls.
